Biden’s ‘Trojan Pier’ for Gaza   by Daniel Greenfield

It’s not about delivering aid, it’s about giving the terrorists a gateway to the world.

March 14, 2024 – Six Americans are still being held hostage by Hamas, and Biden has sent no troops to help them, but at the State of the Union address, he promised to send troops to build a pier for Gaza.

The estimated over 1,000 troops will spend as long as 2 months laboring to build a floating pier in a war zone under potential attack to help transfer aid to the Hamas supporters living in Gaza.

Nothing about this plan makes sense.

The media has taken to falsely claiming that the Arab Muslims occupying parts of Gaza are starving. Vice President Kamala Harris attacked Israel, claiming that she had “seen reports of families eating leaves or animal feed.” Social media videos however show the locals gorging themselves on shawarma and other foods in preparation for the Islamic period of Ramadan.

But if the Biden administration really believed that Gazans were starving right now, what would be the purpose of spending two months building a pier to deliver aid? A program with a two month lead time will not help people who are starving right now. It would be a grim joke.

And the pier plan only gets stranger from there.

According to the administration, there will be no ‘boots on the ground’ constructing the pier and according to a Pentagon spokesman, “it will not be U.S. military personnel that are transporting the aid off of the causeway into Gaza.” So who has the trucks and capability to actually do it?

The United States will build a pier for smaller ships to transfer to a temporary causeway. According to the spokesman, the administration is “coordinating with other nations to assist with operating the causeway and distributing aid into Gaza.”

Who are those nations? They’re clearly not Israel or the United States. While the Pentagon spokesman mentions Israel as a partner nation, the Israelis are already able to deliver aid.

The Pentagon spokesman mentioned the UN and nameless “ally and partner nations”.

“Why not just use those existing ports and have Israel look at what’s going through and bring it in?  It seems like this is a lot of work for 60 days out when there are people starving, frankly,” a reporter asked.

And the spokesman responded with a confusing word salad because he had no good answer.

The actual answer is that the Biden administration does not actually believe that the Arab Muslim occupiers in Gaza are starving, let alone starving to death, otherwise it would be doing more than air dropping 11,000 meals and promising to have meal delivery running in 60 days.

The temporary pier setup is about bypassing Israel to provide long term access to Gaza.

While administration officials describe the pier as “temporary”, a senior official also admitted that “we look forward to the port transitioning to a commercially operated facility over time.”

That means it’s not actually meant to be temporary, but a permanent port for the terrorists.

Two lightly injured in stabbing attack at Tunnels Checkpoint in Jerusalem; terrorist neutralized.

Mar 13, 2024, 8:32 AM (GMT+2) – Two people were lightly injured Wednesday morning in a stabbing attack on Route 60 at the “Tunnel Checkpoint” at the entrance to Jerusalem.

The terrorist, who arrived at the scene and began stabbing people, was shot and neutralized.

Eyewitnesses said that the terrorist drew a knife, injured two people, and security forces at the scene neutralized the terrorist within seconds.

Initial reports say that the terrorist arrived at the scene on an electric bicycle.

A soldier from the Erez battalion and a civilian security guard neutralized the terrorist. A female IDF soldier who was at the scene suffered light injuries and was taken for medical treatment. Her family has been informed.

Magen David Adom (MDA) said, “Two people were injured in a stabbing attack near the Tunnels Checkpoint at the exit from Jerusalem. MDA paramedics are providing medical treatment and evacuating to Shaare Zedek Medical Center a man of about 25 and a young woman of 19, with mild to moderate stabbing wounds to their bodies.”

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Shilo Etting reported: “I was on a bus (with basic dressing equipment), and a few seconds after we passed the checkpoint we heard gunshots. I told the bus driver that I was a United Hatzalah EMT and he allowed me to get off to help the wounded.”

Response to US intelligence report: Israel is not a US protectorate, citizens choose PM   Israel National News

Israeli official dismisses assessment in annual US intelligence report that Netanyahu’s ‘viability as a leader’ is ‘in jeopardy.’

Mar 12, 2024, 7:44 PM (GMT+2) – A senior Israeli official responded to the US intelligence report assessment that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “viability as a leader” to be “in jeopardy” and that Israel will fight Hamas for years to come.

“Those who elect the Prime Minister of Israel are the citizens of Israel and no one else. Israel is not a protectorate of the USA but an independent and democratic country whose citizens are the ones who elect the government. We expect our friends to act to overthrow the terror regime of Hamas and not the elected government in Israel,” the official stated.

Coup Plot: Biden’s Intel Agencies ‘Expect’ Protests to Topple Netanyahu for ‘Moderate’ Leader   By Breibart – Joel B. Pollak

March 12, 2024 – U.S. intelligence agencies are claiming that they “expect” protests to bring down the Israeli government and replace Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been an obstacle to President Joe Biden’s plans for the Middle East.

The claim emerged in the latest “Annual Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Community,” and was published by both the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times Monday evening, suggesting a coordinated leak to the media.

The assessment says:

  • Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has publicly stated his opposition to postwar diplomacy with the Palestinian Authority (PA) toward territorial compromise.
  • Netanyahu’s viability as leader as well as his governing coalition of far-right and ultraorthodox parties that pursued hardline policies on Palestinian and security issues may be in jeopardy. Distrust of Netanyahu’s ability to rule has deepened and broadened across the public from its already high levels before the war, and we expect large protests demanding his resignation and new elections. A different, more moderate government is a possibility.

Netanyahu was elected to his current term in office in November 2022 with a right-wing coalition that had the largest majority of any Israeli government in decades. His approval dropped during nationwide protests over his proposed judicial reforms, and in the immediate aftermath of the October 7 terror attacks, but recent polls suggest that his support has recovered, as he has led Israel to the edge of victory over Hamas while resisting international pressure.

Most important, there is no sign of division among the right-wing parties forming Netanyahu’s coalition. While some opposition parties have called for early elections, Netanyahu has successfully pushed back against the idea, noting that there is nothing Hamas and its Iranian sponsors would like more than to see Israel divided politically during the war. The next elections are scheduled for 2026, if the current government completes its allotted four-year term in office.

Netanyahu has withstood U.S. pressure to accept the Iran nuclear deal; to accept a Palestinian state as the outcome of the war — which he says would be a massive reward for Hamas; and to retreat from its own border in the face of missile attacks from Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorists in northern Israel. As Breitbart News noted earlier Monday, reports have already emerged that the Biden administration is seeking Israeli consultants to help topple Netanyahu’s coalition.

Israel’s Netanyahu Says He Will Defy Biden’s ‘Red Line,’ Draws One of His Own   By Allison Anton

Mar. 11, 2024 3:00 pm – If Joe Biden still doesn’t understand that other world leaders will never take him seriously or see him as a threat, then he’s more hopeless than we thought.

Unfortunately, ever the clueless senior citizen, Biden had the temerity to threaten Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the weekend, first on the hot mic after his angry State of the Union speech, then on national television in a disaster of an interview on Saturday.

But as reported in Politico, Netanyahu has his own response for Biden’s now-infamous “red line” remark it MSNBC.

If you don’t remember, after Biden’s epic fail of a State of the Union address, he was heard on a hot mic expressing his frustration with the Israeli Prime Minister, saying “I told him, Bibi, and don’t repeat this, but you and I are going to have a ‘come-to-Jesus’ meeting.”

Later, in an interview with MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart, Biden attempted to make himself appear a strong and intimidating presence by saying that Israel’s planned military operations in Rafah, a city right in the south of Gaza on the Egyptian border, would be the “red line” for Netanyahu.

However, as Politico reported Sunday, Netanyahu clearly feels little pressure from our octogenarian president on this issue.

As Netanyahu told reporters on Sunday, when asked whether he’d go ahead with the invasion of Rafah, “We’ll go there. We’re not going to leave them. You know, I have a red line. You know what the red line is? That October 7 doesn’t happen again. Never happens again.”

He’s not wrong.

Netanyahu is right to oppose the ceasefire that virtue-signaling leftists are so aggressively lobbying for.

As Biden himself inadvertently admitted in that MSNBC interview, a ceasefire for the month of Ramadan would only strengthen Hamas, giving the terrorists time to regroup and rearm themselves.

Moreover, according to Netanyahu’s own estimates, “We’ve destroyed three-quarters of Hamas’ fighting terrorism battalions. And we’re close to finishing the last part in warfare,” projecting it taking “maybe six weeks, maybe four,” to finally end the fighting.

You have to admit, if his figures are accurate, it would be pure stupidity to put on the brakes right now.

But, regardless of how you feel about Israel’s prime minister, or the Israeli Defense Forces’ battle plans, Netanyahu’s remarks expose Biden’s real weaknesses on the international stage.

Namely, Biden is not respected by world leaders, and that lack of respect is becoming more evident by the day.

Netanyahu clearly doesn’t give a fig about Biden’s “red lines” or threats, or pathetic attempts at tough talking.

Speaking of which, it’s odd how aggressive Biden has gotten with the anti-Israel rhetoric, isn’t it?

Why is he changing his tune so dramatically? Domestic American politics — and his own fears of losing his re-election bid.

Biden is trying (and failing) to walk the political tightrope of appeasing the radical pro-Palestinian left and the more pro-Israel Democratic establishment.

An impossible task?

Absolutely, but that’s not going to stop Biden from trying.

His support among the Democratic base is splintering, and he desperately needs to keep that base united if he wants any prayer of winning the election in November.

Netanyahu surely recognizes this, and therefore has no fear of Biden’s empty words.

Netanyahu is going to keep his course undeterred by Biden’s words, and another symptom of the appalling inconstancy — and impotence — of Sleepy Joe’s entire presidency.

Israel considering arming Gazan civilians to secure aid transfers — report  By REUTERS and TOI STAFF

Secure distribution of humanitarian aid in Gaza continues to be a problem, as public order crumbles and international pressure on Israel mounts

8 March 2024, 6:49 pm – Israeli officials have discussed arming some civilians in Gaza to provide security protection for aid convoys into the besieged enclave, as part of wider planning for humanitarian supplies after fighting ends, the Israel Hayom daily reported on Friday.

With civil order increasingly strained in Gaza and Hamas-backed municipal police refusing to provide security to convoys because of the risk of being targeted by Israeli forces, the issue of secure distribution of supplies has become a major problem.

The potential civilians to be armed would not be linked to terrorist groups including Hamas but it remained unclear who they might be, the newspaper said. It said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had postponed a decision on the issue.

ENGLISH STATEMENT BY THE IDF SPOKESPERSON, REAR ADMIRAL DANIEL HAGARI:

“Hamas has been misappropriating humanitarian aid, diverting resources intended for Gaza’s civilians towards Hamas terrorist leaders instead. In partnership with the United States and CENTCOM, we are orchestrating a temporary floating pier to facilitate the delivery of additional humanitarian aid to Gaza. Our commitment to humanitarian efforts persists alongside our ongoing measures to dismantle Hamas’ military capabilities and secure the release of our hostages.”

🔅 ISRAEL REALTIME – AFTER SHABBAT NEWS SUMMARY  3/9/24

🔸CEASEFIRE – Hamas’s terms basically seem to be ‘end the war, leave Gaza, release our mass murderers, and MAYBE we’ll return some hostages”.  The U.S. has been PUSHING Israel very hard to come up to the edge of those terms, Israel gave a lot but it appears Hamas hasn’t budged.

Current analysis says Hamas is hoping to rile up the Arab world by keeping it going over Ramadan.

🔸JUDEA-SAMARIA (West Bank) – Hamas is already releasing Ramadan propaganda to hopefully rile up both the Arab public and the various militant groups in Judea-Samaria and hopefully cause serious attacks either into Jewish towns or into Israel proper. The IDF has been very active raiding militants in the major Arab cities for the past months, with counter-terror battles nightly – hopefully having suppressed and redirected the militants (if not outright capturing or killing them).

🔸LEBANON – increasing power tit-for-tat attacks continue, with the IDF bombing Hamas sites in southern Lebanon villages hourly, and Hezbollah firing rocket barrages of 20-60 rockets per round.

Rumor are Home Front Command wants to start a campaign to inform the public to PREPARE PREPARE PREPARE, but there is concern it will cause PANIC and possibly cause the enemy to react.

Home Front Instructions (open the Q&A’s at the bottom) (only available in Israel)

Home Front supply instructions: https://www.oref.org.il/12490-15903-en/Pakar.aspx

Home Front prepare your home instructions: https://www.oref.org.il/12490-15902-en/Pakar.aspx

🔸GAZA – The IDF continues working through Khan Yunis neighborhoods and tunnels building by building. Hamas is primarily limited to the last Gaza Strip city of Rafah – which the IDF is somewhat leaving alone but is air striking Hamas leadership locations and operations locations, but warning to evacuate first in some cases.   IDF attacks include blowing up buildings and, in some cases, neighborhoods when they’ve been used as attack platforms.

🔸HOSTAGES – Hamas says 7 were murdered. No reason, but also no evidence.

🔸AID – the aid story is getting weird. Aid protestors have successfully slowed aid, such that the US and Jordan (and others) are now air dropping aid – – which has had drop failures effectively bombing people with aid and killing them while claiming the failure is not them.

The Gazans are complaining about the air dropped aid: the instructions are in English, some is expired, it is not to their taste, the portions are too small, it’s cat food.

The US has said they are going to build an instant-port, to deliver aid by sea – and aid is prepping and loading on ships in Cyprus, but the US has also said they’re going to do this without US forces entering Gaza, by deploying 1,000 US soldiers to:

“Deploy a floating pier and causeway. The aid will be driven into Gaza by vetted U.S. partners and not American troops. The U.S. military will work to ensure proper security measures are in place on the ground and will take precautions to protect its troops offshore.”

https://shorturl.at/exT68

Since security is the issue, with most aid trucks being attacked and looted or hijacked by Hamas, the goals seem impossible.  And who are these ‘U.S. partners’ who are going to go into Gaza?

🔸PROPAGANDA – the new propaganda item is “Gaza children dying by dehydration” since “Gaza starvation” is starting to lose traction.
