Despite pressure on the right: Netanyahu considering enacting only partial sovereignty

Israel is weighing partial sovereignty in Judea and Samaria after UK, Australia, and Canada recognized a Palestinian state; Netanyahu to consult President Donald Trump.

Israel is considering several retaliatory actions against the UK, Australia, and Canada’s declaration recognizing a Palestinian state, and will probably enact partial sovereignty on Judea and Samaria, sources close to the Prime Minister said on Sunday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet next week with US President Donald Trump and will attempt to coordinate the Israeli response with him, aiming to stop the recognition on the one hand, without significantly harming the Abraham Accords, on the other.

Channel 12 reported that Saudi Arabia threatened Israel that enacting sovereignty would carry widespread implications.

At the same time, the cabinet ministers are pressing Netanyahu to respond by enacting sovereignty. The Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has declared that he will propose applying sovereignty to Judea and Samaria at the next Cabinet meeting.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated, “The days of the British mandate are over. The only response to this anti-Israeli step is sovereignty over the homeland of the Jewish people in Judea and Samaria and the removal of the delusional idea of a Palestinian state from the agenda forever. Mr. Prime Minister, this is the time, and it is in your hands.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the declaration earlier on Sunday: “I have a clear message for those leaders who recognize a Palestinian state after the terrible October 7th Massacre: you are giving a huge reward for terror. I have another message for you: It won’t happen. A Palestinian state will not be created west of the Jordan.

“For years, I have prevented the establishment of this terror state against tremendous pressure from home and abroad. We have done this with determination and with astute statesmanship. Moreover, we have doubled the Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria, and we will continue on this path. The answer to the recent attempt to force on us a terror state in the heart of our land will be given after my return from the US. Just wait,” Netanyahu stated.

[Ed.:  But, he does need to ask permission from President Trump even for “partial sovereignty’!  Perhaps he should get down on his atheist knees and beg?   Many of my readers have wondered why I call it “IINO”  (Israel In Name Only).  Well, it’s a better description than ‘Banana Republic for Jew-ish-types. ‘ Or, ‘Globalist place for people with pointy ears and long noses,  until full world control’.  “IINO” is a short and sweet acronym.  If it was truly Israel, none of this would be happening!  The Israel government and military would have known it’s ass from a hole in the ground, and our enemies would have been hundreds of miles away, instead of in our face (and within our borders)  every day, all day, year after year.  IINO is the modern state calling itself “ISRAEL”, which is in itself a lie and a deception. It is a “taqiyya” as the musloids put it.  Bibi is “considering partial sovereignty”?  Stop shitting me already!  BTW, our Creator has less patience for this than I do.  Fortunately He is the True Judge (and prosecutor,) and I’m NOT!.]

Israel Katz: ‘Israeli flag will fly above capital of Yemen’

Defense Minister Israel Katz sends threatening message to Yemen’s Houthi rebel group following hit on Eilat hotel.

Sep 19, 2025, 12:49 PM (GMT+3)  Israel National News

Defense Minister Israel Katz on Friday issued a sharp warning to Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, warning him, “Your time will come.”

He added, “You will be sent to meet your government plenum and all of those thwarted on the axis of evil, who are waiting in the depths of hell.”

“The slogan, ‘Death to Israel, curse upon the Jews’ which is written upon the Houthi flag will be replaced with the blue-and-white Israeli flag, which will fly over the capital of a united Yemen,” Katz promised.

The threats follow multiple Houthi attacks on Israel throughout Thursday, including one UAV which fell at the entrance to an Eilat hotel. No injuries were reported.

Two hours later, the Houthis fired again, this time launching a ballistic missile. Sirens sounded in central Israel and Jerusalem. The missile was intercepted and no injuries or damage were reported.

Earlier this week, the IAF struck Houthi terror targets at the Hodeidah port in Yemen.

“The Hodeidah Port is used by the Houthi terrorist regime for the transfer of weapons supplied by the Iranian regime, in order to execute attacks against the State of Israel and its allies,” the IDF explained following the strike.

Trump: What happened on October 7th was genocide at the highest level   Elad Benari, Canada

Trump calls October 7th “genocide at the highest level” after UN accuses Israel of genocide in Gaza. On the hostages who are still being held by Hamas: We have probably 20 that are living. It’s a nasty situation.

WATCH

US President Donald Trump on Friday commented on a video from former Israeli hostages, who appealed to him to pressure Prime Minister Netanyahu for a ceasefire.

A reporter noted that the hostages believe Trump is the one who “might actually listen to them and get it done” and are concerned that the remaining hostages are “more at risk if the war continues.”

Trump responded by saying, “They might be, they also, maybe they’ll be freed because of that, you never know.” He added, “A lot of strange things happen. A lot of results take place that you would never think were going to happen.”

He noted his involvement in prior hostage releases, stating, “I was able to get most of the hostages out. We’re down to 20 and we have 32 dead people.”

He estimated that there are “very close to 40 bodies that are included in the whole thing, but we have 20, probably 20 that are living.” He noted the difficulty of the situation, stating, “I always said the last 20, when you get down to the last 10 or 20, it’s going to be very tough. It’s a nasty, it’s a nasty situation. You can’t forget October 7th, but it’s a nasty situation. Terrible.”

When asked by another reporter about the UN concluding that Israel “committed genocide in Gaza,” Trump offered a powerful counterpoint.

“I haven’t seen that looking at it, but did anybody commit genocide on October 7th?” he asked. “What do you think about that? That was genocide at the highest level. That was murder, genocide. You can call it whatever you want, but little babies were chopped in half. Arms were cut off. People, heads were cut off. It’s genocide. It’s genocide also, I guess.”
