BREAKING: Israel Launches Airstrikes Against Targets in Lebanon  (VIDEOS)   By Paul Serran

Feb. 19, 2024 11:00 am – In a move that’s likely to further escalate the ongoing military conflict in the Middle East, Israel has launched airstrikes against targets in Southern Lebanon.

Times of Israel reported:

“Lebanese media report Israeli airstrikes in the town of Ghaziyeh, on the southern outskirts of Sidon, some 30 kilometers (19 miles) from the northern border.

Footage posted to social media shows large fireballs and clouds of smoke from the targeted sites.

There is no immediate comment from the IDF.”

From a Lebanese X account: ‘The first raid was near Al-Reem Company’s warehouse, and the second raid was near Al-Shahouri Mosque, Al-Regie area, in the Al-Ghaziyeh area, south of Sidon’.

Arab News reported:

“At least two Israeli air strikes hit southern Lebanon on Monday near the coastal city of Sidon, state media and an AFP photographer said.

[…] ‘Israeli warplanes carried out… strikes on the town of Ghaziyeh’, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) said Monday, adding that a vehicle was targeted and ambulances rushed to the scene, without providing further details.”

This is not the usual ‘near-the-border’ strike. Ghaziyeh is around 20 miles from the nearest Israeli frontier and less than five kilometers from the city of Sidon.

One of the strikes appeared to have targeted a hangar close to the main coastal highway.

Is the Red Cross really neutral on Israel?   By JUDITH SUDILOVSKY

Jewish distrust of the ‘middle man’ organization – accused of refusing to deliver vital medications to hostages – dates back to the Holocaust.

FEBRUARY 18, 2024 – Among the many, many traumatizing images Israelis are coming to terms with following October 7 are those of the release and transfer of 105 mostly women and children hostages from Hamas captivity. Turned over into the hands of International Committee of the Red Cross staff, waiting to transfer them to ICRC vehicles and on to waiting Egyptian and Israeli officials, fear and stress pervaded as the newly released civilians were surrounded by armed Hamas terrorists and crowds of shouting Palestinians.

The hostages were visibly tense as they made their way the short distance from Hamas vehicles to the white ICRC Land Rovers emblazoned with a red cross on their sides, which would take them across Gaza to the Rafah crossing, first to Egyptian security forces, where they were handed over to the IDF.

One hostage, Rimon Kirscht, notably stared down a Hamas terrorist and then, as she was approached by an ICRC worker, apparently exchanged some words of dismissal. Another hostage, however, emotionally hugged all the ICRC workers who had transported them once they reached the crossing.

“We are just glad we were able to move them from one place that was not safe to a place that is much more safe,” Jason Straziuso, ICRC global media chief, said in an interview with NBC on November 24, when 24 hostages were released during the implementation of the first stage of the agreement that also involved the transfer of Palestinian women and male teenage prisoners from Israeli jails into Palestinian hands. “Our part was the neutral intermediary, that trusted middle man that is a vital aspect of this operation, to be trusted by Hamas and to be trusted by Israel to safely carry this out.”

But for a large majority of Israelis – with the ICRC’s failure during the Holocaust to do anything on behalf of Jews in concentration camps still fresh in their memories – the terms “trusted middle man” and “neutral intermediary” are ridiculed, and they accuse the ICRC of doing virtually little to nothing to secure the release of the hostages in Hamas’s hands, ascertain their whereabouts, let alone visit them or ensure that they had received medicines sent in an agreement mediated by Qatar in mid-January.

“Throughout the years since the day of its inception, the Red Cross never [stepped forward for the Jews] or the Israelis, even during the Holocaust,” charged Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, founder of Shurat HaDin-Israel Law Center, who, in a legal demand letter signed by more than 1,200 attorneys, has accused the ICRC of taking only superficial steps toward protecting the hostages. They slammed the ICRC for what she says is a potential breach of integrity by its affiliated Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), for allowing the transport of Hamas terrorists in its ambulances.

“Even during the Holocaust, they refrained from visiting Jews in concentration camps,” she stressed.

Will Israel Invade Southern Lebanon?   By Larry Johnson

Feb. 18, 2024 7:15 am – There is a lot going on in the world that is generating fear in the West because they have lost control of the narrative and the battlefield. Ukraine’s retreat from Avdeevka has exposed the lie that the Russian military is a spent force comprised of coerced, untrained, poorly supplied conscripts. This has left NATO scrambling to try to find a way to keep Ukraine in the fight, but Ukraine’s Army is being ground into dust and its morale is flagging.

But that is not where the real danger lies. Israel is signaling that it will invade southern Lebanon and fight Hezbollah.

Here is General Halevi doing his version of Mirror, Mirror on the Wall.

But this is not just some idle fantasy confined to Halevi. He has the backing of an overwhelming majority of Israeli citizens according to Lebanon’s Naharnet.

A poll published by right-wing Israeli newspaper Maariv has showed that 71% of Israelis believe that Israel should launch a large-scale military operation against Lebanon.

Israel has been carrying out heavy air strikes on villages in southern Lebanon during the past week, but it has not weakened Hezbollah. To the contrary. Hezbollah is stepping up its own missile attacks on Israeli settlements. Saraya al-Qassam and company hit “Ashkelon” with massive barrages of projectiles, setting off the missile sirens and sending the Jewish settlers running for shelter!

Victims of October 7 demand declaration of UNRWA as terror group   By PressNewsAgency

February 13, 2024 – An initiative to declare UNRWA a terrorist group is being spearheaded by the Shurat HaDin Legislation Middle, representing dozens of October 7 bloodbath victims.

Shurat HaDin’s initiative is focused towards the Protection Ministry. The group argues that there’s a stable authorized foundation for such a designation. Their opinion, comprised of arguments that stretch over eight pages, was submitted to Protection Minister Yoav Gallant. Ought to Gallant settle for the proposal, he can train his authority to declare UNRWA a terrorist group however could be subjected to Shin Guess safety suggestion providers.

The President of the Legislation Middle, legal professional Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, commented, “Now it’s clear to everybody that UNRWA has opened its doorways to Hamas terrorists in an unprecedented manner. Within the guise of a humanitarian group that perpetuates a false and harmful historic narrative, they’ve themselves develop into a central headquarters of a terrorist group, a few of whose workers murdered harmless Jews with their very own palms.”

The present initiative is available in gentle of the IDF’s latest revelation of the Hamas command middle within the Hamas tunnels under UNRWA’s headquarters, which operates on behalf of the UN within the Gaza Strip.

Darshan-Leitner continued, “UNRWA is not a humanitarian company – its develop into a full-scale jihadi group. This gives all of the grounds and authorized proof for the Protection Minister to declare them a terrorist group. This designation is the need of the hour in an effort to forestall the subsequent victims of terrorist violence and expedite the collapse of Hamas rule within the Gaza Strip.”

The medicines for the hostages that were found in the Nassar hospital in Gaza:

February 17, 2024 – An unusual event happened today at the Rafah crossing: a Palestinian boy who tried to take humanitarian aid from the crossing was shot to death along with many others.  He was apparently shot by Hamas police officers.  In response, many of the young man’s family arrived at the crossing and started rioting and crowd clashes broke out on the spot.  The entrance gate of the crossing was also set on fire.  The Hamas police intervened in an attempt to restore order.

Scheme Uncovered to Announce Palestinian ‘State’ RIGHT AWAY!   by Bob Unruh

But draws chorus of objections

Feb. 16, 2024 6:40 pm – A scheme has been uncovered that apparently would involve announcing – unilaterally – a Palestinian state right away, and it is drawing a chorus of objections.

The Algemeiner website reported the proposed plan, described by the Washington Post, calls for “the withdrawal of many, if not all, settler communities on the West Bank; a Palestinian capital in east Jerusalem; the reconstruction of Gaza; and security and governance arrangements for a combined West Bank and Gaza.”

Stunningly, the action could involve “early U.S. recognition of a Palestinian state – even as elements of political reform, security guarantees for both Israel and the Palestinians, normalization and reconstruction are being implemented.”

The discussion is stunning in that only in October, terrorists from Hamas, which works out of the Palestinian-controlled Gaza, invaded Israel and butchered some 1,200 civilians.

The scheme apparently is the work of the U.S. and several Arab states.

“In my speech yesterday in Berlin, I warned against the dangerous plan that is taking shape for unilateral international recognition of a Palestinian state,” said Gideon Sa’ar, an Israeli lawmaker who is not part of the government coalition.

“This plan will not only not resolve the conflict but will make it intractable. The Palestinians will receive state recognition without paying the the price of compromise and they will continue the conflict from an upgraded position that will harm Israel’s right to self-defense.”

Israel, according to reports, would be left out of the process entirely.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been opposed to such a move.

“1,400 murdered and the world wants to give them a state. It won’t happen,” National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said on social media.

“The intention of the U.S., together with the Arab states, to establish a terror state alongside the state of Israel is delusional and part of the misguided conception that there is a partner for peace on the other side… While we are in the government, no Palestinian state will be established.”

The report said Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also said, “We will in no way agree to this plan, which actually says that the Palestinians deserve a reward for the terrible massacre they did to us: a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. The message is that it pays very well to massacre Israeli citizens. A Palestinian state is an existential threat to the state of Israel as was proven on October 7, Kfar Saba will not be Kfar Aza!”

The news site also warned, the “overlooked ‘elephant in the room’: polls show that most of the Palestinian people don’t actually want a two state solution at all, on any terms, or in any borders.”

Hamas leaders have said it is unacceptable for them to be expected to recognize Israel in any form.

The report said “74.7% of Palestinians desire a Palestinian-only state that entirely supplants Israel, while 72% support the October 7 massacre, which, to be clear, included burning Israeli babies, beheading, mass rape, mass murder, and large scale kidnapping.”

[Ed.:  They’re going to announce it any moment now I hereby announce that they are in for a bit of a let down, and a big whack from upstairs...]
